Why are we offering this training?

The importance of learning how to protect homes from wildfire has been repeatedly demonstrated, most recently by the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles. Realtors work closely with home buyers and sellers, and the opportunity for realtors to pass on knowledge and best practices of wildfire mitigation is significant.

Boulder and Longmont (BOLO) Realtors have been key partners in Wildfire Partners since 2014 and want to continue to grow that partnership.

The new training will not only provide successful participants with critical information about wildfire mitigation—it will give them a Wildfire Partners designation that will help them market their services and provide better guidance for their customers.

Owners looking to sell are motivated to increase the value of their properties by mitigating wildfire risks.

Potential buyers are demanding homes that are insurable.

Homeowners who obtain a Wildfire Partners Certificate can upload it to their MLS listing to help market their home.

Wildfire Partners also provides a certificate transfer option to new homeowners who purchase a home that has been Wildfire Partners certified within the last 3 years.
