Wildfire Partners offers free home assessments to all eligible homeowners in Boulder County.
These programs provide eligible residents with a personalized wildfire risk assessment by a trained Wildfire Mitigation Specialist. If you live in a high-density community characterized by multiple homes less than 50 feet apart, or in a community that has a communal land-ownership structure, we encourage you to read more about our Community Mitigation Program.
East County Individual Home Assessment Program
While many residents in eastern Boulder County live in high-density neighborhoods and municipalities that are well-suited for the Wildfire Partners Community Mitigation Program, a number of residents live in low-density, rural areas where a community approach is not feasible. To address this gap, the East County Individual Home Assessment Program offers individual wildfire assessments to those rural residents whose property is east of Highways 36 and 93.
West County Individual Home Assessment and Certificate Program
Since 2014, Wildfire Partners has offered an individual home assessment and certification program to Boulder County residents whose property is west of Highways 36 and 93. Homeowners can obtain an insurance recognized certificate once they complete all required mitigation actions identified in their assessment and pass a final inspection.
